Beeswax Pillar Candles

Beeswax, a natural wax produced by honey bees, is one of the oldest kinds of waxes used for candle making, with a tradition that stretches back to the Middle Ages when it was used by the privileged, Royalty and the Church. This natural raw material is precious (at one point in history being more valuable than gold!) - a colony of bees produces approximately one pound of wax per year.

Beeswax candles burn brighter, cleaner and longer than most other alternatives and emit a calming natural honey perfume. The wax has its own natural colour which varies depending on the season.

Rapeseed Wax Scented Container Candles

All of our scented candles are made using Rapeseed Wax (a European grown, natural vegetable wax) and pure essential oils.

This means that they are all natural and have much less ecological impact (by way of less transport miles) than other natural waxes :) I feel that the Rapeseed wax is the UK's equivalent to Soy Wax!

The wax is a creamy white colour in its natural state and burns for longer than paraffin wax. As with other natural waxes, it burns with a clean flame in the right conditions.
